|The Golden Retriever Girls
The girls are usually retired before they turn 6 years old to be house pets. We want them
to have a life after their maternity years. They never have more then 5 litters. Most of them
don't have that many. Everyone says they adjust quickly to being a house pet.
I raise a lot of pups who never make it as breeding dogs.
They have to go through several stages of health and
temperment tests before being added to the breeding
program. Some hereditary issues that may cause them
to be placed are... excessive barking, aggression, skin
allergies, Cronic ear problems, fertility problems, too
much energy, and of course any of the health
clearances that they don't pass. These girls have not
made it into the breeding program yet. All of my dogs
will eventually go to pet homes if I find the right fit for
them. Some just go sooner then others.

|Our girls are usually adopted into pet homes around 5 or 6.
We look for the right fit for each of them. Some go on to be
therapy dogs and loving companions.
If you are interested in possibly adopting one of them, Send
me an email with information about your home, family, and
other pets. That way I will be able to contact you if I feel you
are the right home for one of them when they are ready.
